Hurray!! Our seeds came in the mail yesterday! It is utter torture, I am dying to start planting, but I know I need to wait a few more days.... I start next Wednesday. Do you think I can make it?

WHAT JUST A MINUTE OW DID YOU KNOW ABOUT BAKER CREEK SEEDS?! LOL That's like the best in the world! I got mine there too. Awesome selection and real dedication to preserving good varieties.
I CAN'T REMEMBER OW'S I KNOWED ABOUT BAKER CREEK! ;) I ordered their catalogue and was very impressed with their variety, so pretty much all our seeds have come from them. I am really excited to be able to save seeds this year. :)
I can't wait to see how they do - I'm excited about the heirloom varieties!
However... the germination rate so far is not quite as good as Ed Hume seeds, and the starts are not quite as vigorous. Hopefully by saving my own seeds in the future, they will be stronger each year. I appreciate Ed Hume because they carry many non-hybrid varieties as well, have excellent service, are fairly local, and I've been impressed with seed quality.
We are three Christian sisters who have been blessed with a large and loving family of eleven. And we are each a child of the Heavenly Father and King: Christ Jesus.
We do everything together; from hiking, to dancing, to giggling in our beds at night, we are inseperable. We are all alike in some ways yet vastly different in others, which keeps life interesting. :D Megan is our writer, always seen with pen and paper...Emily is our photographer, you have to wonder sometimes if she ever takes the camera away from her face... And Me? Well, I think more often than not you would find me either doing something with my animals or reading a book about them.
And in between these times if you were to peek in a window you might catch us practicing dance steps or just talking about "ships and shoes and sealing wax, cabbages and kings".
God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called.
A favorite verse
In like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or or gold or pearls or costly clothing, but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works. 1 Timothy 2:9-10

Enough of the sales pitch.
Happy growing, Caity!
