A couple weeks ago we noticed the most adorable little mushrooms growing under one of our pine trees. While they are most likely poisonous :( they are just too cute to pull up.
oh my goodness!!! These mushrooms were EVERYWHERE in Alaska! It was the first time I'd ever seen them in person! It makes me think of a fairy tale, and I keep expecting to see little dwarves dancing around them. Anyway, that's crazy that there are some down here!!!
Those are really cool li'l mushrooms! ;D Over here we have lots of weird ones we call "Ash mushrooms". When you pop them open, this black dust comes out. Scary. :D
Hi Krista! :D Ash mushrooms? Sounds intriguing! We have a lot of different mushrooms over here, but I don't think I've ever seen one like what you've described...
We are three Christian sisters who have been blessed with a large and loving family of eleven. And we are each a child of the Heavenly Father and King: Christ Jesus.
We do everything together; from hiking, to dancing, to giggling in our beds at night, we are inseperable. We are all alike in some ways yet vastly different in others, which keeps life interesting. :D Megan is our writer, always seen with pen and paper...Emily is our photographer, you have to wonder sometimes if she ever takes the camera away from her face... And Me? Well, I think more often than not you would find me either doing something with my animals or reading a book about them.
And in between these times if you were to peek in a window you might catch us practicing dance steps or just talking about "ships and shoes and sealing wax, cabbages and kings".
God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called.
A favorite verse
In like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or or gold or pearls or costly clothing, but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works. 1 Timothy 2:9-10

They do look like fairytale mushrooms don't they!? Maybe that's why I like them so much.... ;D
This was my first time to ever see a mushroom like that, at first I didn't believe that they were real! :)
