A day amongst friends

I really am going to explain the fabric secret but, first things first! :D

Yesterday some friends invited us to tag along with them to go to Fort Vancouver (I bet you couldn't guess it was in Vancouver could ya' ?). We had never been there before so we eagerly accepted the offer.

It was a long day but well worth every minute.

Here's a glimpse of our day:

Naturally you have to visit the gift shop first before you do anything else.

Hmmmm. Maybe we should follow that sign?

The garden, located outside the fort. It was pretty even though it was somewhat bare

"Hey look! I found it!"

Inside the fort.

I think this was the Blacksmith place

The Chief Factor's house (he was kind of like the mayor)

I love this shot. I told mom that this is what my house will look like someday: filled with bottles and herbs. :D

A side entrance? Hmmm. could come in handy if we need to escape. LOL

Quick bar the door! The enemy is attacking! (okay, this shot was posed)

Uummm...Here we are--uh--well--running. Next shot please.

Our destination, the Bastion. I mean, how could you not run towards something like that.

Ha! we made it up all those scary stairs. The bastion is where they kept there cannons in case of enemy attacks.

Shall we say more art? I don't remember what room this was in. :D

Aahh, yes. The prison. We had a lot of fun in here, as you can probably see.

A weak and withered hand......spooky

Walking the garden one more time as we begin the journey back.

The three lads, talking about......?

I think this is probably what we all looked like at the end of the day.

All for now I guess. :)

You should take up a job writing funny commentary for photos... my brothers asked what I was laughing at on the computer!

That was a fun trip. :)

I think we should go again,
and make some changes like:
Test fire the cannons, make it a AMERICAN fort,
and possibly have a huge airsoft or paintball match inside. :P

Cool pics though!
